About Project Socks

Project Socks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2025 by 16-year-old Brock Maniatis. After touring colleges and seeing the struggles of people experiencing homelessness, Brock felt called to act. Inspired by his Catholic high school’s commitment to service, he set out to make a difference in his community.

The organization focuses on donating new socks—one of the most requested but least given items in shelters. Each pair provides warmth, dignity, and care, reminding our neighbors in need that they are valued and not forgotten.

Our Core Values

Driven by the vision of a teenager who believed one small act could spark big change, we live by three core values that shape how we serve our community.

Service

We believe in giving back through action. Every pair of socks delivered is a small but powerful way to serve those in need.

Compassion

We offer kindness and support without judgement, especially in times of need.

Community

We unite volunteers, donors, and partners to create lasting impact together.

Make a Difference Today!

Your donation is more than just a gift—it’s a lifeline of comfort, dignity, and hope. With something as simple as a new pair of socks, you can help prevent health issues, bring warmth on cold nights, and remind someone that they are not forgotten. Together, we can make a difference—one pair of socks at a time.
